Period.

Our days are no longer relaxing. Period. Wade and Brody refuse to sit still for longer than 10 seconds. They are becoming way more independent, but also more clingy. They listen when we say no 'or' choose not to listen...and follow simple instructions, ie. "Come here" or "Roll Mama the ball" or "Say ball". It is fun watching them imitate us and each other! They are developing so quickly, that it is both thrilling and challenging!! Their invites have gone out for their 1st birthday party. It is going to be pirate themed...imagine that. Aren't we creative? ha ha

Stroller ride with Daddy, Mommy, Miller and Buckley down to the bay:In the tub on Friday night at Campbell's house! We took a blue bath!!

On Saturday, we met the Deal's, Labeth and Kristina and Joe Garvey and his sons at Sculley's for pizza and then to AJ's to watch the boats come in:

B-man looks like he is placing an order to the server!
Wade can crawl up stairs, has started sticking his finger up his nose, shaking his head no, is still freaking out when anything besides yogurt, cheese, snacks or baby food is put into his mouth(major texture issues) and completely falls into major giggles when we play peekaboo!
Brody gives high-five's, tries to imitate tons of words, prefers fresh fruit(especially banana's and strawberries) over any type of food and is already having issues with sharing! My favorite time of any day is when I walk into a room and they both have their little arms up in the air...and I sit down and they completely clobber me with sloppy wet kisses and HUGE hugs. I hope they never lose their loving ways, their giant smiles, or their ecstatic demeanor's, because they are perfect in every way. They might wear us out, but at the end of the day, they are all that matters. Period.

Facing forward and drinking milk!

Well, big things happened this weekend! I got thrown up on, Pop's got thrown up on, Brody got his first "shiner", the boys are facing forward in their car seats, we have started incorporating 2 ounces of whole milk to their formula (so that the transition to milk won't be such a shock to their little digestive systems when they turn 1!!) and we are trying to get them to drink all of their formula out of sippy cups during the daytime. Big changes people, big changes!
We are assuming that B-man's acid reflux is showing itself again. He has vomited quite a bit over the past couple of weeks, and it is always when he has a very full belly, and when we feed him acid based foods, such as lasagna or spaghetti. Well, that is what we are attributing it to at least. It always seems to happen after he lays down for bed at night...which is when my acid reflux acts up too, if I am too full. We are going to eliminate tomato based foods and see if this helps. He also either fell on a toy or Wade bonked him in the face with a toy Saturday morning and he has a little bruise and cut underneath his left eye! Poor guy!

Grammie and Pop's kept the boys Saturday night and we drove over to PCB Sunday morning to pick them up and to celebrate Todd and Scott's birthdays! Uncle Scott, Aunt Allie and cousin Caden drove over from Tallahassee and we enjoyed Grammie's meatloaf, mashed potatoes, stewed tomatoes and peas...and ice cream cake! Todd's birthday is tomorrow and Scott's is on Wednesday. Happy Birthday Daddy and Uncle Scott! Cousin Caden Wade was pulling up on Caden or trying to steal his toy the whole afternoon... Cousins!! Caden 14 months and B and W 11 months Todd getting some Caden lovin'The Birthday Boys! Happy 37th Birthday Daddy and Happy 32nd Birthday Uncle Scotty!

On the way home, we decided to turn the boys around in their car seats! They absolutely loved it and giggled for the longest time. Wade thought he was so cool and talked the whole way home!

And just a couple of random shots....cause I am so totally and madly in love with these two little boys....!!!

Exactly 4 weeks until we are big 1 year olds!

Time flies when you are having fun! Wade and Brody are into everything!

Wade is always up on his two feet. Whether a wall, furniture, toys, his brother, the bathtub(gasp)...he is pulling up and standing. He is standing alone for long periods of time and almost letting go to walk from one point to another. He is the more laid back one, this month anyways, and takes everything in stride. He is quite the professor...studying everything and trying to figure out how things work. He loves to be chased and has developed a hysterical giggle that will melt your heart. Wade still loves to be held and think Teddy Graham's and mozzarella cheese are the best things in the world. He has seven teeth now and is working on his eighth.
Brody is a mess. A good mess that is. He is still screaming...an ear piercing scream that will make your ears ring for hours. He screams when he is happy, sad, frustrated...you name it, he is screaming. It's like the movie Forest Gump-Scream, Brody, Scream. We have tried everything, from saying no, to screaming back, to removing him from the situation, to smacking his little hand. So, now we are just gritting our teeth and trying to ignore him when he screams. Figure if we give no reaction, it will lose the attention he is gaining and he will stop. Say a prayer! He is still a very loving child who is always smiling and doing his "O" face. He is a people person and loves to be surrounded by people. Brody loves the bath and anything to do with water. Popsicles still remain his favorite treat and yogurt melts are a strong second. He gives the best "open mouthed" kisses and hugs and has already figured out how to read people and act accordingly! He is a master at rolling the ball back and forth to us and thinks peek a boo is the best game in the entire world. He talks a lot of conversational gibberish and throws a ball with his left hand...Campbell's 2nd Birthday Party (thank you Lynnette for great photos!):
The birthday girl, Miss Campbell Leigh Hipsh!Gotta love the mohawk!Trying to get 3 kids to look at the camera is impossible. Oh Boy. Brody looks drugged, Campbell is guarding her paci because Wade is trying to steal it. I have my signature mouth open smile and Whitney is smilin' pretty!
Getting into EVERYTHING:
They are obsessed with the dog crates. So we put them in there and let them explore! It was pretty funny. Maybe once they are older, this will be a good place for time-out? ha ha JUST KIDDING!!!!!!!Swinging with Nana, and the mosquito's:

And...here are pics from their first time on a boat, first time in the Gulf and first time at Crab Island! Don't we live in Paradise?? The water looks like the pool water..................Campbell, Wade and Brody all passed out on the ride home. If you look closely, you can see Campbell has her little head resting on Wade's. It was sweet!
