Happy Birthday Grandmother!!

We drove over to Macclenny to spend time with the Harrell clan...and to celebrate Grandmother's 84th birthday!! We helped Grandmother celebrate her birthday with Uncle Andy, Aunt Marilyn, cousin Alex, cousin Andrea, cousin Madeline, Uncle Scott, Aunt Allie, cousin Caden, Grammie and Pop's! This was the first time that all 4 great-grandchildren were able to all be together at Grandmothers!

This was the best picture out of the 30 or so pics we took, while all of the "greats" were sitting with their Great-Grandmother!
All of the Harrell boys and little Miss Madeline came out of the bedroom, doing a birthday march, singing Happy Birthday to Grandmother!
And then, they presented her with their artwork!!
Alex, Marilyn and Madeline serenaded Grandmother with a song, while playing the Ukulele...or however you spell it...We all chimed in, and the boys danced...The B-man was not quite acting himself this weekend...he was starting to come down with a cold and was reserved and cuddly. Wade on the other hand, acted like a maniac. He was literally running in circles, climbing on everything and everybody, all weekend long. He showed the family why we call him "Crazy Wade". He was so excited to be around everybody that he could just not contain himself!!! He actually stayed up until around 10:30-11p on Saturday night. He really wanted to play board games with the big kids! Maybe in couple more years Wade!! This pic was taken LONG after Caden, Madeline and Brody were asleep...
The Daddies and kiddos spent a lot of time in Grandmothers huge backyard, playing ball, exploring, riding bikes and just running and running! The weekend would not have been complete without tons of hugs and kisses!Today is Madeline Annabelle's 2nd birthday!! Happy 2nd Birthday Madeline!!! Glad you were able to soak up some of the FL rays, before heading back to New England!
On Sunday, after we packed everything and everybody up, we headed home and settled in for our 5 hour drive back to Shalimar. We like to break up the trip for the boys and the dogs, so we stopped by a big grassy field and let them chow down on McDonald's!!

One of our many road trip picnics:
And as I got closer and closer, I realized B-man was holding the french fry containers upside down...And then, I saw what happened. He was in heaven. French fry heaven...Ahhh, to be young again and not have a care in the world! While we were in Macclenny, we were all commenting on how much Wade looks like Pop's. G-mom dug out baby photos of Lee, and the resemblance is incredible!!!! Wade looks just like his Pop's!! See for yourself:On a sad note and with a very heavy heart...I do not even know how to write this. I know it is an impersonal way to tell family and friends that might not know, but I believe that this will save Todd and I the stress of having to relive it, over and over. Telling our family and friends is such a hard thing to do!! Our pregnancy was no longer viable and I am no longer pregnant. I was 10 1/2 weeks when we found out. It was/is still a shock to us and our families, but we are moving on and we know, without a doubt, that God has a plan and that His decisions will make sense in time. Please know that we are OK, that we have found peace in the situation and we thank you for your prayers and concerns. There is really nothing more to say, except that our "baby" will forever be a part of us... :( Love, Carly and Todd

Men

While we were eating dinner the other night, Brody decided to jump in Todd's lap and help him with his pizza. The other child, who we call Wade, was in the family room, watching something on TV. We about died when we turned around and saw him. This proves that all men are the same and little boys are naturally "men" from the get-go. I will let the picture speak for itself. He was standing there, with his pants pulled down, scratching his hiney. Lord, please give me a little girl....ha ha ha. Just kidding. Kind of. Scratching, passing gas, etc...seems to be in my future, no matter how you look at it. Even the dogs are males.

Here comes the sun(shine!)

Little darling, it's been a long cold lonely winter
Little darling, it feels like years since it's been here
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun
and I say it's all right
This sums up Wade's personality perfectly...Crazy hair B-man. I think this was right after naptime!!
The Mill's
We had my appointment last week for Baby #3 and all looks great! Heart was beating at a strong 160 beats per minute and I am measuring right on target. Due date is set for October 1st, however, since I will be having another c-section, the Dr. will probably schedule it for September 24th!! I guess they want to schedule it earlier so that you do not go into labor...so, Sept. 24th it is!! Here is a blurry cell phone pic of the little pea in the pod on the computer screen!

Valentine's Day was Mmmm Mmmmm Good!

This weekend started off with a party at the boys' school for Valentine's Day! Their teacher, Ms. Sara, put so much work into the party...Thank you so much "Ms. Sa-ya"!!

The 1 year old class enjoying their treats! The boys all wore shirts that said, "The ladies love me". Ms. "Sa-ya" purchased them and put their names on the back of all of the shirts! Brody's had a #1 and Wade's had a #2...too cute! Some body was thrilled to see his Dadddddeeeeee....Brody is infatuated with Todd these days. He literally lights up when Todd walks into a room. Although I secretly wish the boys would always remain "Mommy's boys", it is satisfying watching Todd's reaction to being adored. It melts my heart in ways I cannot describe!Brody did not make a peep the entire time they ate and was the very last one to get up from the table. Wade, on the other hand, dumped his plate the minute they sat down and walked around stealing everybody's sippy cups.B-man and crazy Wade enjoying the party:Grammie and Pop's drove over to pick up the boys and keep them for the weekend! Here they are getting a kick out of all of the kiddos....
We decided Saturday afternoon to drive on over to PCB and join Grammie, Pop's and the little fella's....On Sunday morning, the boys helped Pop's make waffles!Don't they actually look kind of like twins here?

The Wonder Horse made its way from Macclenney to the family room of Grammie and Pop's...

Thank you again Grammie and Pop's for a WONDERFUL weekend! We love you!

We took the munchkins to their 18 month check up and shot appointment yesterday! They are both almost 34 inches tall and B-man is weighing in at about 30 pounds and Wade is weighing in at 32 pounds! We have ourselves some VERY healthy babes!!! They took their shots in stride , and after a camo band-aid and a lollipop, all was good in the world. They are developing just perfectly...as if we did not already know this :)

I will be 8 weeks pregnant on Thursday and will have an appointment at 8am that morning. I am not as far along as we initially thought...meaning when we found out I was pregnant, I must have been 3 1/2 to 4 weeks pregnant...VERY early!!!!! I am saying many prayers that the pregnancy continues to thrive and remain viable. I guess it is a common worry among Mothers, especially after you realize what a miracle having a child really is! Here is a little picture from the Internet, showing what our 3rd little miracle might look like at this point...

I can hardly stand it.

I am so in love with these two little monkeys. They are so stinkin' cute, I can hardly stand it. (Nothing like a Momma braggin'...hehehe. I know. Gag me...but I cannot help myself!)

Look how BIG they are getting! They will be 18 months old tomorrow. Sniff. Sniff

Check out my artwork on top of their Valentine cake for school. Ummm...stop laughing. I never claimed to be good at baking or decorating. I couldn't write with the darn icing thingy, so I just drew hearts and laughed the entire time. Happy Valentine's Day!
