Happy Father's Day!

We ended this weekend doing absolutely NOTHING...you heard me right. Nothing. That's what Todd wanted to do for "da da" day, so nothing we did! We did not even leave the house. Todd and I made breakfast for dinner and went to bed very early. Todd was gone for 6 days at the College World Series in Omaha, so it was just me and the kiddos! Boy was I happy to see him! :) They truly love their Daddy...

The boys are now on pretty much all table food! Tonight for dinner, they had chicken, carrots, mac-n-cheese and goldfish. They loved every bite! We have discovered that Wade hates fruit. I will have to keep trying and trying...They are both mimicking everything we do, i.e. I clap my hands, they clap their hands; I click two balls together, they copy me back! What a wonderful and amazing experience to watch 2 little babies grow up, right before our eyes! Wade is letting go of furniture and taking steps, only to do face plants...still a while to go before he learns to balance himself! Brody is really into gagging himself. It is a strange habit that I hope stops soon! He is probably the happiest and most smiley baby I have ever known...they are both all ours, which is the best thing in the whole world!

Of course, here are pics from the end of last week and this weekend...
Brody's new favorite spot in the house:

Check out our teeth! We each have 6 of them...4 on top and 2 on the bottom!

They also love to check out each others teeth...

B-mans new "O" face...He does it all of the time!

and here is the Wade

It was SO hot on Saturday (heat index was at 110 degrees!!), that while we were visiting with Nana, we decided to blow up her kiddie pool and let the boys go at it! It cooled them down so much, we even got in with them. You seriously have NO idea how hot it has been....

Here are pics of me and Todd, when we were the same age as the boys...or at least close to it. Look how much they resemble us! (I just took a pic of a pic, because the scanner is at the office...)
